Samsung Galaxy S23 128GB model leaked – only use UFS 3.1 flash storage
According to initial reports, the Samsung Galaxy S23/Ultra series will come with faster LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage. However, according to recent reports, the standard Galaxy S23 model (base storage option) will be an exception. The base version of the Samsung Galaxy S23 will continue to come with 128GB of storage. There will be an option to upgrade it to a 256 GB version for a higher price. According to @IceUniverse, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Standard Edition will come with 128GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage. This will make its read and write speeds slower than other UFS 4.0 flash memory models.
The latest LPDDR5X memory is the low-power memory standard for mobile phones, tablets and laptops. It supports data transfer speeds of up to 8533Mbps, 33% faster than the fastest LPDDR5 memory. The UFS 4.0 memory chip offers sequential data read speeds of up to 4200 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 2800 MB/s. and sequential write speeds of up to 1200 MB/s. UFS 3.1 storage speeds vary depending on capacity, and the 128GB version of the chip has a sequential write speed of 850 MB/s.
The combination of new generation chips (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy), new memory (LPDDR5X) and new storage (UFS 4.0) will bring major performance improvements to the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. The entire building showcases 3D renderings where Samsung shows off the power of the various Galaxy S23 series. Samsung is focusing on the camera zoom performance and night imaging capabilities of its upcoming mobile phones. The company uses the theme “Get ready to light up the night”.
The Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra will be launched on February 1, 2023 (February 2 Beijing time) at the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event in the United States. The upcoming phone is expected to bring faster performance thanks to Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy processor, LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage.
