Your Sunday promises to be sunny again across the Vaucluse. The mitral will still blow, but it will be much weaker than the previous days, generally 40-50 km/h in the Rhone valley. Winds west of Tricast and the enclave will be strongest during the day at 60 km/h. Wind is not expected to blow in the eastern half of the department.

■ Minimum temperatures: 1°C in the Rhône valley below the previous day, -1°C around Vaison and the enclave. Colder in Comtat, between -4 and -5°C in Carpentras, and down to -7°C between Bédoin and Flassan. Watch out for very severe frosts around Luberon and down to -8°C in Toulourence. For Ventoux: Mont Serein and -5°C at the summit.

■ Maximum temperatures: a maximum of 9°C at the foot of the Luberon until the previous day, 7-9°C in the western plains, 7°C in the Enclave and Tulurenc. Between 3 and 6°C in the plateau, depending on altitude. 1°C is expected at Mont Serein, -2°C at Mont Ventoux.

Monday, January 30

Things will not change with a still very wintry northerly flow early in the week. The sky in Vaucluse will be partly cloudy in the morning, and the number of clouds near the reliefs will increase during the day. The mitral will strengthen during the day, 70 km/h in the morning for the Rhône valley, 80-90 km/h in the afternoon, and 100 km/h in the evening and the following night. Weaker winds are moving towards terrain.

■ Minimum temperatures: stationary compared to the previous day and still below seasonal norms: 0 to 1°C in the Rhône Valley and Enclave, -2 to -4°C in the Comtat, -4 to -6°C in the air at the foot of the Ventoux, between Apt and Pertuis – Up to 7°C, between -7 and -9°C in Touloureng. -2 to -5°C on the Albion Plateau and -4°C on the summit of Ventoux.

■ Maximum temperature: 4-7°C on the plain, 0-3°C on the Albion Plateau, 1°C on Mont Serein and -3°C on Mont Ventoux.

Tuesday, January 31

The weather will be similar to the previous day with skies split between clouds and sunny spells. The wind will still be slightly less strong in the west than today, with gusts between 70 and 80 km/h from Tricastine to Grand Avignon. Almost complete absence of wind near the reliefs.

■ Minimum temperatures: 2 to 4°C in the Rhone valley, -1 to -3°C elsewhere in the plain, -3°C in the Albion Plateau and Mont Sere, 0°C in Mont Ventoux.

■ Maximum temperatures: 8-11°C on the plain, 7-10°C on the Albion Plateau, 5°C on Mont Serein and Mont Ventoux.

Wednesday 1er February

Days will be similar this week with high pressure, cool and breezy as always. There will be cloud cover until early in the day, then clear skies later in the day. The mitral will blow at 60 or even 70 km/h in the Rhône valley during the day. Light wind near reliefs.

■ Minimum temperatures: 2 to 4°C in the Rhone valley, 0 to -3°C near the hills, -3°C on the Albion plateau and Mont Ventoux, 0°C on Mont Serein.

■ Maximum temperatures: 8-10°C on the plain, 7-9°C on the Albion Plateau, 5°C on Mont Serein and 3°C on Mont Ventoux.

The trend from February 2 to 5

A very sunny weekend is coming, with a strong anticyclone over Western Europe. However, with a chill in the wind, the temperature will remain close to normal for the season. The mitral will continue to blow through the Rhône valley at least through the weekend, often with winds between 70 and 80 km/h. The winds that will go towards the reliefs of the East will be less and less strong.

❏ Thursday and Friday: 2 to 4°C in the Rhône valley, -1 to -3°C elsewhere in the plain, -3°C in the Albion plateau, -5°C in Ventoux. Highs will be stable, around 8-10°C in the plains, 5°C in the Albion Plateau, -4°C in Ventoux.

❏ Saturday and Sunday: 0-3°C in the morning on the plain, -3°C on the Albion plateau, -5°C on the summit of Ventoux. The maximum will be stationary, 8-11°C in the plains, 4-7°C in the reliefs.
