Samsung Galaxy S24 will return to high-end Exynos 2400 chips
Over the years, Samsung has used a dual flagship model in terms of mobile phone chips. This suggests that it uses in-house Exynos chips for both its Snapdragon and flagships. While the Snapdragon models are available in China, the US and other major markets, the Exynos model is headed to Europe and parts of Asia. However, the Samsung-made Exynos 2300 will no longer be used in the flagship Galaxy S23 series phones. Instead, the company will use the chip from the Samsung Galaxy S22 FE, a mid-range mobile phone. Now there are reports that the company will bring its chips back to its flagships. It will be Exynos 2400 model from Samsung Galaxy S24 series.
According to some reports, Samsung Exynos 2400 will start mass production in November this year. The Samsung Galaxy S24 series will be official in 2024 and may use this chip. This chip can only be used for the South Korean version of this series of mobile phones. Currently, there are two specifications rumors about the architecture design of Samsung Exynos 2400. There is a report that the chip will use 1+4+3 octa-core architecture. +2+3+4 ten-core architecture.
The Exynos 2400 is expected to come with a super large Cortex X4 core, a small Cortex A510 core and a large Cortex A720 core. But there is no specific number of big and small hearts. There are no leaks or rumors regarding the specific number. It’s important to note that Samsung has been using Snapdragon chips in its flagship devices for the past few years. But the Korean market will still have flagship phones with their own Exynos series chips.
In addition, Exynos series chips also have a significant influence in Europe. It is not known whether the European version of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will use Qualcomm or Exynos 2400 processors. There is currently no official comment from Samsung regarding this report.
