Samsung has officially unveiled two new foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4. A leader in the foldable display mobile market, the brand further refines its formula with this new generation, which includes significant improvements over its predecessors. Galaxy Z Fold4: a smartphone with a huge foldable screen
The big draw of Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold4 is its large, immersive 7.6-inch internal display. Its size makes it perfect for running multiple programs at the same time. Based on Dynamic AMOLED 2x technology, it displays a QXGA+ definition of 2176 x 1812 pixels and benefits from an adaptive refresh rate that automatically changes from 1 to 120 Hz when needed. It is also HDR10+ compatible. It is supported by an external Dynamic AMOLED 2x display that is used when the smartphone is folded. It measures 6.2 inches with HD+ resolution of 2316 x 904 pixels and a refresh rate ranging between 48 and 120 Hz.
The Galaxy Z Fold4 is equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, which is the most powerful in the Android mobile market today, and which ensures the high performance of a folding smartphone, engraved at 4nm. The SoC is supported by the presence of 12 GB of RAM, the amount of RAM that allows the mobile device to work perfectly at any time, in games and with a large number of applications at the same time. The autonomy of the smartphone is entrusted to a 4400 mAh battery compatible with 25 W fast charging and up to 15 W wireless charging technology.
Samsung is also known for its reliability in photography, and the Galaxy Z Fold4’s camera proves its ease in this area. It is equipped with a 50 MP main sensor and f/1.8 aperture with optical image stabilization, a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle module that expands the field of view to 123°, and 10 telephoto lenses. Hybrid zoom up to 30x. The smartphone has two selfie cameras, one 10 MP on the external display and the other 4 MP located below the internal display. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 also shines in video, with the ability to shoot 8K at 24 frames per second or 4K at 60 frames per second.

Galaxy Z Flip4: foldable compact
The Galaxy Z Flip4 is based on a different type of design. Its foldable screen allows it to be closed like the flip phones of old to adopt an ultra-compact format that easily slips into a bag or pocket. You can even use the smartphone in Flex Mode for hands-free use.
The large 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x internal display has a 2640 x 1080 pixel FHD+ display, HDR10+ support, and is capable of changing the refresh rate between 1 and 120 Hz to combine fluidity with display and battery life. The small 1.9-inch Super AMOLED external display has an informative as well as a functional role. It provides quick access to settings, notifications, widgets and even Samsung Pay without opening your smartphone.
In terms of performance, we find an excellent SoC Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 with 8 GB of RAM in this model. The 3700mAh battery supports 25W wired and 15W inductive charging.
