Thirty regional Misses dream of winning the highest crown. Their average age is 21. The oldest is Miss New Caledonia, 26 years old. The youngest is 18 years old and there are four of them: Miss Reunion, Miss Ile-de-France, Miss Provence and Miss Guadeloupe. Miss Ile-de-France is the tallest and is 1.86 m. The candidates pursue different studies: Miss Guyana wants to be an airline pilot, Miss Martinique studies geology, Miss Aquitaine is a make-up artist. Three candidates represent Occitania: Miss Midi-Pyrénées Florence Demortier, Miss Roussillon Chiara Fontaine and Miss Languedoc Cameron Vallière.

Who are the favorites?

If we look at the popularity of Misses on Instagram, the most popular is Miss Guyana. She is ahead of Miss Réunion and Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais. According to Avisia, a data science firm that collects photos, comments and likes posted on the Misses, artificial intelligence promises to select Miss Guadeloupe. Last year, this artificial intelligence made a mistake by betting on Miss Martinique.
