Launched as a pilot program for 10,000 users in the summer of 2022, Smart Connect offers a revolutionary remote assistance service that allows ADAC members and its staff (call center, help, etc.) to connect remotely and thus perform in-depth vehicle diagnostics. through OBD Dongle and Cloud services to improve roadside assistance with better user experience. The result of this in-depth diagnosis is transmitted to the Cloud platform, both complete with a user interface (taskbar) provided by MUNIC.
Smart Connect is based on MUNIC’s OBD Dongles and its on-board artificial intelligence engine, as well as the MUNIC software suite: a GDPR-compliant data processing and services platform, as well as a remote diagnostics panel based on MUNIC’s EKKO studio portal. Based on Hella Gutmann’s macsLIVE solution, MUNIC provides ADAC with a complete environment for performing deep remote diagnostics.
says Aaron Solomon, President and CEO of MUNIC : “MUNIC’s Smart OBD Dongles and AI Cloud Platform was selected by ADAC for its unique ability to decode and process a wide range of vehicle data.
